Learn how to install a MetaMask Snap to your Metamask Wallet

How to Install ZetaLink

Installing ZetaLink is a straightforward process that allows you to enhance your MetaMask wallet with additional functionalities. Follow these steps to install a Snap, whether prompted by a DApp or through the MetaMask Snaps Directory.

Step-by-Step Installation

1. Explore Snaps:

   • Navigate to the MetaMask Snaps Directory to browse a comprehensive catalog of available Snaps. Find one that interests you.

2. Initiate Installation:

   • If you are using a dApp that requires a Snap, it may prompt you to install its accompanying Snap. Alternatively, you can click the "Install Snap" button in the directory.

   

   Click "Install ZetaMask"
3. Review Connection Request:

   • When prompted, a connection request will appear. Take a moment to review the details provided in the request, ensuring that the correct domain is requesting the installation.

4. Connect:

   • If everything looks good, click the "Connect" button to proceed with the installation.

Select Testnet or Mainnet and click "Connect ZetaLink"

1. Permissions Review:

   • A new screen will display the permissions required by the Snap. Review these permissions carefully. Snaps may request access to various features, such as managing accounts or accessing network data.

2. Confirm Installation:

   • If you agree to the permissions, confirm the installation. Your Snap will be added to your MetaMask wallet, allowing you to utilize its functionalities.
